Trine event offers kids introduction to engineering

ANGOLA (04/04/2018) — The Society of Women Engineers, Trine University Chapter, will host "Introduction to Engineering Day" for any interested kindergarten through eighth-grade students from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, April 21.

Activities are free and will be held in Fawick Hall Room 119 on the university campus.

The day will feature opportunities for children to explore engineering, including lab tours and demonstrations. Students will rotate through activity stations hosted by different engineering societies on the Trine campus, including chapters of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the Society of Automotive Engineers and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.

Students should plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before the event begins in order to register.
