Brian Alexander of Woodville graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Trine University in Angola, Indiana.

About 500 took part in the 2016 commencement ceremony on May 7 in the Keith E. Busse/Steel Dynamics Inc. Athletic and Recreation Center.

Summa cum laude is awarded to students having met the required minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.950; magna cum laude, average GPAof 3.750; and cum laude, average GPA of 3.500 with at least 40 semester hours earned at Trine University.

Honors Program recognizes students who have completed the Trine University Honors Program, which provides enrichment opportunities to high achieving and highly motivated students.

Trine University, an internationally recognized, private, co-educational, residential institution, offers associate, baccalaureate, and master degrees in programs to students in engineering, mathematics, science, informatics, business, teacher education, communication, criminal justice, golf management, social sciences, and various other fields of study.
