Brian Karr named to Phi Eta Sigma honor society

The Trine University chapter of Phi Eta Sigma recently added 26 students during its annual induction ceremony.

Founded at the University of Illinois in 1923, Phi Eta Sigma is a national honor society honoring academic achievement by first-year students at institutions of higher learning. The society has chapters on 378 campuses across the United States and has inducted more than 1.1 million scholars since its founding.

Brian Karr, a chemical engineering from Valparaiso, was among the students inducted into the Trine University chapter on April 20.
