Bryce Sims Graduates from Trine University

Bryce Sims of Columbia City graduated May 5 from Trine University with a Bachelor of Science in Design Engineering Technology in Hershey Hall on the university's main campus in Angola.

Sims is now designing automated equipment and robotics at Automation Engineering, LLC in Fort Wayne.

He is the son of Rick and Jean Sims. He is a graduate of Columbia City High School, where he was an honors student. He played football at Trine for four years and was First-Team All Conference for three years. He said that without his parents he would not be where he is today.

"Bryce is now part of more than 25,000 Trine University alumni, who are leading and serving in companies around the globe," said Trine University president Earl D. Brooks II, Ph.D. "Bryce's education at this premier institution will leave a lasting legacy that will take form in the years ahead – in the workplace and community and on campus, affecting the lives of future students."
