ANGOLA (05/21/2018) — Trine University's Club Z will celebrate its grand opening by launching a summer of "Birdies, Brew and BBQ" from 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 25.

Throughout the summer, the expanded Zollner Golf Course clubhouse, located in the university's new MTI Center, will feature live music on the patio every Friday night along with a menu including choice of ribs, chicken or a hamburger with unlimited sides for $9.95 and a full bar both Fridays and Saturdays. Outdoor games and prizes also will be available at this family-friendly event.

Chris Worth is the summer's opening act, and will perform keyboard and vocals on a variety of rock, country, R&B, Motown and jazz hits, covering artists as diverse as Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole. The bowling alley inside the MTI Center also will be open during the grand opening, with bowling available for $2 per game, per bowler, and shoe rental available for $2.

Club Z features a new lunch and dinner menu provided by Bon Appetit, along with its full bar, which stocks wine from Satek Winery and beer from Mad Anthony Brewing Company along with many other popular selections.

Following opening night, "Birdies, Brew and BBQ" will move to 5:30-8:30 p.m. each Friday. More information, including menu and entertainment lineup, is available at trine.edu/clubz.
