Air Supply tickets on sale March 23

ANGOLA, Ind. (03/19/2018) — Tickets for Air Supply, which will perform at Trine University on Friday, July 13, as part of the university's Summer Concert Series, will go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, March 23.

The concert will begin at 8 p.m. in Ryan Concert Hall of the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts, with doors opening an hour prior to the performance. Tickets range from $50-$80 and will be available at trine.edu/furth.

Meeting during rehearsals for "Jesus Christ Superstar" in 1975 in Sydney, Australia, Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock have delighted audiences as Air Supply for more than 40 years. After success in Australia, the duo broke into the United States in 1980 with "Lost in Love," which became the fastest-selling single in the world and was named Song of the Year. That was soon eclipsed by "All Out of Love."

Seven top-five singles later, Air Supply at that time had equaled the Beatles' run of consecutive Top 5's. The group's albums "Lost in Love," "The One That You Love," "Now & Forever" and "The Greatest Hits" sold more than 20 million copies.

Air Supply has attracted and continues to delight audiences around the world, and has performed for dignitaries including Prince Charles and Princess Diana. In 2013, the duo was inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association's Hall of Fame.

Tickets remain for the opening concert in the series by Gary Puckett and the Union Gap on June 1. Tickets for the final installment in the series, a concert by Pink Floyd tribute band Pink Droyd on Aug. 3, will go on sale April 20.
