Almost time for 'Almost, Maine'

ANGOLA (10/31/2017) — Alex Denton, a freshman from Portland, Indiana, majoring in design engineering technology and mechanical engineering and Jenna Wilson, a freshman from Richmond, Indiana, majoring in forensic science, rehearse a scene from the Trine University Drama Club's upcoming production of "Almost, Maine." Performances, which include a cast of 15 students, will take place from Nov. 9-11 beginning at 7 p.m. each night in Wells Theater inside Taylor Hall on the Trine campus. All performances are free and open to the public.

The play, which includes adult themes, takes place in Almost, Maine, "a town that's so far north, it's almost not in the United States. And it almost doesn't exist. Because its residents never got around to getting organized." On a cold, clear, mid-winter Friday night, the town's residents find themselves falling in and out of love in the strangest ways.
