Free fireworks follow Trine's opening football game

Added new policy on items not allowed in stadium.

ANGOLA (08/27/2018) — Trine University will host a free fireworks display following its opening home football game under the lights on Thursday, Aug. 30.

The Thunder will face off against Manchester beginning at 7:30 p.m. Adult tickets for the game are $7 per person; senior citizens and those under 18 are $3.

Starting this year, firearms, weapons of any type, backpacks and liquid containers, other than sealed water bottles, will not be allowed inside Zollner Stadium. All bags will be subject to inspection.

Trine football was undefeated during the regular season last year, advancing to the second round of the NCAA Division III national tournament. The Thunder defeated Manchester 35-12 in the 2017 season opener.
