Heather Kim joins Trine main campus as assistant VP and dean of admission
ANGOLA - (06/19/2017) — Heather Kim has joined the admission team on Trine University's main campus as assistant vice president and dean of admission.
"Heather brings a wealth of experience in enrollment management, as well as a knowledge base of processes and practices, which will immensely complement Trine University's admission team," said Scott Goplin, vice president for enrollment management. "I am excited by her new role, as it will have direct impact on our continued ability to achieve ever-greater enrollment goals."
Kim brings extensive experience in higher education administration to the position. She has worked in admission, student services and marketing positions for DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana; Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona; Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona; and Arizona Christian University in Phoenix, Arizona. She most recently served as assistant vice president at Trine University's Peoria, Arizona, campus.
In her new role, Kim will have direct responsibility for supervising the day-to-day operations of the Office of Admission on Trine's main campus, including supervision of the admission office student workers, admission counselors and Director of First Impressions. She also will represent the university at a variety of admission activities.
