Sessions, speakers announced for educators' conference at Trine

ANGOLA, Ind. (03/31/2025) — Trine University has announced the schedule for Storm Into Summer, the university's first conference for K-12 educators.

Storm Into Summer will be held Wednesday, June 4, on Trine University's Angola campus.

Registration is open for the conference. There is no charge for the event.

Experienced teachers, administrators, faculty

Storm Into Summer will feature sessions presented by experienced public and private school educators and administrators as well as Trine University faculty.

Five sessions will focus on using artificial intelligence in the classroom. Sessions related to STEM education will cover topics such as esports and university STEM experiences.

Many sessions will relate to successful teaching and learning practices, including sessions on project-based learning, career pathways and student engagement.

Other presentations will focus on topics in educational leadership and Universal Design for Learning/accessibility.

In addition, the conference will offer educators opportunities to connect with the many resources and programs offered at Trine University.

Those who attend will receive professional growth points for teaching license renewal.
