Trine invites businesses to submit projects for students
ANGOLA (04/17/2018) — Trine University invites area businesses and organizations to submit projects for senior-level business and/or engineering students to complete during the 2018-19 school year.
Assigned and completed through Trine's Innovation One idea and business incubation center, these projects allow students to gain hands-on experience while providing unique solutions to business needs. The projects will be completed by teams of four to six students working throughout the academic year.
Previous projects, which have been conducted for companies and organizations such as Steel Dynamics LaFarga, FLARE Inc. and Pokagon State Park, have consisted of programming/app development, data management, product design, site planning, packaging design, processes and tooling development, conducting research or business planning.
If a project's timeline or scope is smaller than a full academic year, the university offers alternative options for partnership through specific course alignment or student internship programs.
