Trine's Overlooked Film Festival continues with 'I, Tonya'

Angola, IN (03/26/2018) — Trine University's Overlooked Film Festival will continue this Thursday, March 29, with "I, Tonya."

The Overlooked Film Festival gives members of Trine's local community the opportunity to watch free films that were not released locally or that were generally "overlooked" at the time of their release. All films will be shown at 7 p.m. at the Fabiani Theater in the Rick L. and Vicki L. James University Center.

Concessions will be sold outside the theater by sisters of Phi Sigma sorority prior to the showing. Fabiani has a maximum capacity of 320 guests, so it's recommended that attendees with specific seating preferences arrive early.

Rated R, "I, Tonya" tells the story of one of the most infamous names in the history of sports, competitive figure skater Tonya Harding. While Harding was the first woman to complete a triple axel in competition, her legacy will always be tainted by her association with an ill-conceived attack on a fellow Olympic competitor.
