Trine's Poe Night returns Oct. 30
ANGOLA (10/22/2018) — Usher in the Halloween season with rhymes of ravens, sonnets of spirits and works about witches as Trine University presents its fifth annual Poe Night on Tuesday, Oct. 30.
Beginning in the evening as the bell tolls seven, the event will take place in Wells Theater inside Taylor Hall. Trine University students and staff will be joined by members of the community in reading, reciting and acting out poetry by master of the macabre Edgar Allan Poe.
Father Tom Adamson of Angola's Holy Family Episcopal Church will play the violin at the opening and between pieces. The also will be a short performance featuring the witches from William Shakespeare's "Macbeth."
Poe Night is free and open to the public, but seating is strictly limited to 75.
