Trine students receive American Foundry Society scholarships

WARSAW (12/05/2018) — Four Trine University students received scholarships from the Northern Indiana chapter of the American Foundry Society at its Nov. 12 meeting in Warsaw.

Zachary Shepard, a senior from Angola, Indiana, majoring in mechanical engineering, Landon Pearson, a senior from Churubusco, Indiana, majoring in mechanical engineering, Sean Rourke Carroll, a senior from Jackson, Michigan, majoring in mechanical engineering, and Kathleen Jutte, a sophomore from Fort Recovery, Ohio, majoring in design engineering technology, each were chosen based on academic achievement and a demonstrated interest in cast metals.

The meeting included the organization's Scholarship Night, with scholarships presented through the Foundry Education Foundation.
