Trine teams, youth skaters present ice show April 26

ANGOLA (04/09/2019) — Trine University's synchronized and figure skating teams will celebrate the end of their season with a public show that also incorporates youth skaters from the Thunder Ice Arena's Learn to Skate program.

The ice show will begin in the arena at 7 p.m. Friday, April 26. Tickets are $5, or $3 for students, seniors and children 12 and under, and will be available at the door.

The Trine teams will perform their competition season programs at the event.

"The show will have about 18 numbers. Our skaters will showcase freestyle, ice dance and a synchronized skating program," said Rachel Franchock, head coach for the synchronized and figure skating teams.

The synchronized skating team performs a Dia de Los Muertos-inspired program. Individual programs are set to music such as Queen, New York New York, Evita and Ed Sheeran.
