The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) has announced Trine University men's basketball player Aiden Warzecha [Milford, Mich. / Milford] as the Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week.

Tara Bieniewicz [Chesterfield, Mich. / Dakota] of the Trine University women's basketball team has been named Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Athlete of the Week after her performance in a 77-52 win over Penn State-Behrend.

The Trine University women's basketball team defeated Penn State University-Behrend on Wednesday afternoon in the Basketball Destinations Post-Christmas Classic at Trevecca Nazarene University, 77-52. Tara Bieniewicz [Chesterfield, Mich. / Dakota] was able to secure the Trine career three-point record with her second make from deep in the game at the 9:09 mark in the second quarter.

The Trine University men's hockey team swept this week's Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) Player of the Week Honors. Freshman Bobby Price (Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.) earned the award for offensive players and senior Hunter Payment (Monroe, Mich.) took home the defensive honor.

Bultemeyer takes home the Women's Track award while Livingston, who won the track honors last week, has been selected as the Women's Field award winner.

Trine University student-athletes swept the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week awards with Haley Livingston [Fort Worth, Texas / Everman] winning the track award and Valerie Obear [Fishers, Ind. / Hamilton Southeastern] taking field honors.

The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced their All-Region teams following last weekend's regional competition. One Trine University men's cross country student-athlete was selected as well as three from the women's team.

Sophomore Shane Brancato (Lake Villa, Ill.) has been named Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) Defensive Player of the Week following a strong weekend in net leading the team to an early 2-0 record in NCHA play.

Tara Bieniewicz [Chesterfield, Mich. / Dakota] was the talk of the night with her career-high 23 points and five made three-point field goals. The final of those would break the program record for most career made three-point field goals since the Thunder joined NCAA Division III.

The Trine University men's cross country team brought home a third place team finish at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships on Friday.

Haldeman finished 14th with a career-best time of 23:13.6. Haldeman and Brittain, who placed 15th at 23:14.2, were members of the Second Team All-Conference. It is the sophomore Haldeman's first time being named All-Conference and Brittain now becomes a two-time All-MIAA titleholder.

Trine University men's soccer student-athlete Tyler Murphy [Greenfield, Ind. / Greenfield Central] was named First Team All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) over the weekend. It is the second time that Murphy has been selected to the All-MIAA team after being a Second Team recipient in 2020.

Teresa Ashbrook [Dewitt, Mich. / Dewitt] was selected as a First Team All-MIAA selection. Sophie Aschemeier [Findlay, Ohio / Liberty-Benton] and Olivia Butterworth [Murray, Ky. / Murray] were each mentioned as Second Team All-MIAA recipients.
