Ecuador 2020
Trine students begin work on new water system for Ecuadorian village
Since 2017, teams including members from Trine University's Engineers Without Borders (EWB) chapter have assessed the water needs of a remote Ecuadorian village and surveyed the area for additional sources. In March, work began on improvements to the village's water system.

Exercise science students help test Olympic hopefuls
Eleven exercise science majors accompanied Shane Steele, DPT, chair and assistant professor of Trine's Department of Exercise Science, to the Next Olympic Hopeful, a talent transfer event held April 13 at the Turnstone Center in Fort Wayne. The group conducted field tests, analyzing about 20 athletes' movements and body mechanics to assess the effectiveness of their performance.

For more than 200 at-risk students, the Mountain Mission School in Grundy, Virginia, offers an opportunity to begin a new life. Over Spring Break, a group from Trine University's Christian Campus House (CCH) did what they could to help those students on their way.

The 17th annual Big Man on Campus (BMOC), sponsored by Trine University's chapter of the Theta Phi Alpha sorority, raised more than $11,000 for the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.
