Team finds Ecuadorian village has water in abundance thanks to Trine EWB project
Their cup runneth over. Or at least, their storage tanks do. For five years, teams from Trine University's student chapter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) have worked in tandem with the Indianapolis professional chapter of EWB to increase the amount and quality of drinking water for the community of Comuna Guangaje, a remote village in Ecuador.

Students named to Trine University's Vice President's List
Trine University students were named to the Vice President's List for the Fall 2022 term. To earn Vice President's List honors, an undergraduate student must be registered for 12 or more total semester credit hours, including graduate courses, with fewer than 12 credit hours at the undergraduate level. The student must have a semester combined undergraduate/graduate grade point average between 3.750 and 4.000, with the undergraduate semester grade point average not lower than 3.500.

Trine student joins the front lines of cancer research
Trine University student Aaron Streit had the research opportunity of a lifetime over the summer. Aaron, a biomedical engineering major from New Paris, Indiana, researched methods to slow the spread of colorectal cancer under Dr. Michael DiPrima, a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), as part of the NIH's Biomedical Engineering Summer Internship Program (BESIP).

Ice dream: Student skated for Disney before coming to Trine
Even before coming to Trine University as a figure and synchronized skater, Beth Carley learned what it was like to share the ice with talented teammates. The sport and recreation major from Richmond, Virginia, who just finished her junior year at Trine, toured with Disney on Ice, Worlds of Enchantment from summer 2019 until the shows shut down due to COVID-19 in March 2020.
