Thunder Aces 14th in online competition
Trine University' s bridge team, the Thunder Aces, competed Sunday, April 6, in the Collegiate Online Tournament. The Trine team, made up of Treyton Sederstrom, a senior actuarial science major from Cedar Lake, Indiana, Ryan Hoak, a senior civil engineering major from Warsaw, Indiana, Isaac Braun, a junior chemical engineering major from Portland, Indiana, and Ryan Sederstrom, a sophomore electrical engineering major from Cedar Lake, Indiana, defeated teams from New York University and Carnegie-Mellon to finish 14th out of 32. The top five teams received their expenses paid to participate in the North American Bridge Championship in Philadelphia.

INDIANAPOLIS - Mia Diaz, a Trine University sophomore from Goshen, Indiana, majoring in exercise science on the 3+3 direct entry pathway for physical therapy, was one of 29 first-generation Indiana college students named as a "Realizing the Dream" recipient by Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI).

The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has announced their Men's Track and Field All-MIAA selections and Most Valuable Performers from Saturday's MIAA Championships. Trine earned three first-team and seven second-team performers. Trine captured its sixth consecutive MIAA Indoor Championship and 10th consecutive MIAA Championship.
