HUDSONVILLE, Mich. - The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) has unveiled the All-MIAA recipients for the 2023 baseball season. The Trine University baseball team was represented by senior outfielder Robert Kortas on the Second Team All-MIAA.

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. - The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) has announced the individual recipients of All-MIAA honors following the MIAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Four Trine University track and field student-athletes won MIAA championships last week to garner All-MIAA awards.

Trine University students were named to the Vice President's List for the Spring 2023 term. To earn Vice President's List honors, an undergraduate student must be registered for 12 or more total semester credit hours, including graduate courses, with fewer than 12 credit hours at the undergraduate level. The student must have a semester combined undergraduate/graduate grade point average between 3.750 and 4.000, with the undergraduate semester grade point average not lower than 3.500.

Trine University students were named to the President's List for the Spring 2023 term. To earn President's List honors, students must complete a minimum of 12 hours and have a grade point average of 3.750-4.000.

Trine University students were named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2023 term. To earn Dean's List honors, students must complete a minimum of 12 hours and have a grade point average of 3.500-3.749.

Trine University students completed degrees at the end of the Spring 2023 semester.

Andrea Wright, a biochemistry major from Plainfield, Indiana, is the Distinguished Student for 2023 from Trine University's Rinker-Ross School of Health Sciences.

Maire Sullivan, a psychology major from Plymouth, Michigan, is the Distinguished Student for 2023 from Trine University's Jannen School of Arts and Sciences.

Andrea Davenport, an English education major from Downers Grove, Illinois, is the Distinguished Student for 2023 from Trine University's Franks School of Education.

Aaron Streit, a biomedical engineering major from New Paris, Indiana, is the Distinguished Student for 2023 from Trine University's Allen School of Engineering and Computing.

The host institution were the team champions on the women's side. Morgan Moslow was able to secure a new school record mark in the pole vault. She placed third with a new personal best height of 3.25 meters (10' 8.00").

On April 11, the Humanities and Communication Department faculty, students, friends and families gathered in Wells Theater to celebrate students' accomplishments throughout the year and send off graduating seniors. Students were recognized by faculty based on their work and the skills they have shown, both in and out of the classroom. Writing Center Outstanding Senior Tutor Award: Brooklynn Gravel, a communication major from Hillsdale, Michigan, and Isabel Newcom. Outstanding Student Work in Graphic Arts: Lauren Banks, a communication major from Angola, Indiana. Outstanding Student Leadership Award: Haylee Richards, an English major from Liberty, Indiana. Mal Foerster Backstage Award: Katrina Kellogg, a design engineering technology major from Bryan, Ohio. Golden Microphone Award Excellence in Broadcasting: Brooklynn Gravel. Outstanding Freshman in HAC: Ian Hoffman, a communication major from Montpelier, Ohio. Needler McGregor Excellence in English: Blake Williams, an English major from Elkhart, Indiana. Outstanding Spanish Student Award: Madyson McShane, a psychology major from La Porte, Indiana. Spanish instructor Ana Boman performed the Alpha Beta Nu chapter Induction Ceremony during the HAC awards. Meara Finnegan, a biology major from Blissfield, Michigan, was inducted into the chapter.

The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) has announced the 2023 edition of its postseason honors. Freshman Andrew Spirrison and sophomore Cole Goodman each earned a spot on second team All-MIAA while Senior Aaron Streit received the Dr. Lawrence Green Scholar-Athlete Award.
