A white coat ceremony Friday morning in Fort Wayne celebrated 32 students in Trine University's incoming class for the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.

When Christie Hasbrouck BSME 2016 came to Trine University, she was fascinated by airplanes. While at Trine, she discovered a passion for metallurgy and materials engineering. Now, as a graduate research assistant, she gets to combine both.

A total of 24 fellows were selected from 497 applicants to the engineering honor society. All Tau Beta Pi Fellowships are awarded on the competitive criteria of high scholarship, campus leadership and service, and promise of future contributions to the engineering profession.

Members of the ENG 233 Mythology class released an eBook of work. Titled Tales from Mythology Spring 2016, the book is a collection of student-created myths from class. Students were assigned the project of creating their own myth, with encouragement to explain something about Trine's campus in the process.
