NCHA Awards Announced
Senior Brandi Wilson (Fenton, Mich.) headlines a group of three Trine University women's hockey student-athletes, becoming the first player in program history to earn the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) Women's Player of the Year Award. Senior Kirsten Vandenheuvel (Denfield, Ontario) joined Wilson on the All-Conference team while Ryleigh Furlong (Lakeville, Minn.) was named to the All-Freshman team.

One concert to rule them all: Trine wind ensemble celebrates 'Lord of the Rings'
The Trine University Wind Ensemble will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the "The Lord of the Rings" movies with a concert featuring music from the epic film series on Sunday, Feb. 27. The concert begins at 3 p.m. in the Ryan Concert Hall of the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts and is free and open to the public. The wind ensemble is under the direction of Prof. Mark Kays, chair of Trine's Music Department.

Students named to Trine University's Vice President's List
Trine University students were named to the Vice President's List for the Fall 2021 term. To earn Vice President's List honors, an undergraduate student must be registered for 12 or more total semester credit hours, including graduate courses, with fewer than 12 credit hours at the undergraduate level. The student must have a semester combined undergraduate/graduate grade point average between 3.750 and 4.000, with the undergraduate semester grade point average not lower than 3.500.

The Trine University women's bowling team captured its first conference championship in school history over the weekend at the American Heartland Bowling Association (AHBA) Championships.
