Trine DPT students present research, earn honors at national APTA conference
Reflecting growth in both the number and quality of students in its Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program, Trine University took ten third-year students to present research at the annual Combined Sections Meeting of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), with one group earning a national honor.

Bringing SeaPerch to life: Trine Robotics Club members lead 4-Hers in project
On Jan. 30, the pool at the YMCA of Steuben County had something moving around that wasn't one of the regular swimmers. Students from Steuben County 4-H, under the direction of students from Trine University's Robotics Club, were testing the SeaPerch underwater robot they had built.

Hackathon Participation 2019
From Oct. 18-20, five Trine students traveled to the NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio, for the NASA International Space Apps annual "hackathon." According to NASA, the event includes 29,000 participants at 225 events in 71 countries. Trine students, along with other participants, had two days to develop and present solutions to various challenges assigned to them at the event.

Cast announced for 'The Importance of Being Earnest'

Trine University student wins SAGE Scholars national scholarship contest
Zachary J. Anderson, a Trine University freshman from Crestwood, Illinois, has won a $1,000 SAGE Scholars scholarship in a nationwide essay contest. Anderson, a chemical engineering major, was one of the winning 100 scholarship recipients who wrote an exceptional essay.

Trine student soars to new heights in NASA internship
Will Steffel says he knew nothing about rotorcraft before the summer began, but the Trine University senior learned about them in a big way. The mechanical engineering major from Sherwood, Ohio, completed an internship this past summer at the NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California, working in rotorcraft aeromechanics.
