Cast announced for 'The Importance of Being Earnest'
The Trine University Drama Club has announced the cast for its upcoming production of "The Importance of Being Earnest." The play will be performed Nov. 14-15 at 7 p.m., and Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. in the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts. Performances are free, with seats available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Trine University student wins SAGE Scholars national scholarship contest
Zachary J. Anderson, a Trine University freshman from Crestwood, Illinois, has won a $1,000 SAGE Scholars scholarship in a nationwide essay contest. Anderson, a chemical engineering major, was one of the winning 100 scholarship recipients who wrote an exceptional essay.

Trine student soars to new heights in NASA internship
Will Steffel says he knew nothing about rotorcraft before the summer began, but the Trine University senior learned about them in a big way. The mechanical engineering major from Sherwood, Ohio, completed an internship this past summer at the NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California, working in rotorcraft aeromechanics.

Trine DPT Class of 2022 receives white coats
Trine University welcomed its sixth Doctor of Physical Therapy class during a special ceremony at the university's Health Sciences Education Center in Fort Wayne on Aug. 30. During the annual White Coat Ceremony, 33 members of the Trine University Doctor of Physical Therapy Class of 2022 received their white coats, symbolizing their transition from preclinical to clinical health science.

O'Brien, a civil engineering major from Indianapolis, won the novice 178-pound division for Golden Gloves boxing in the state of Michigan.
